Indications:
- Erectile Dysfunction (ED):
Enhances erectile response by improving blood flow to the penis in the presence of sexual stimulation. - Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (Off-label):
Sildenafil may be used to reduce pulmonary blood pressure by dilating blood vessels in the lungs. - Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (Off-label):
Occasionally used to relieve lower urinary tract symptoms.
Dosage & Administration:
- Recommended Dose: 100 mg taken orally, approximately 30–60 minutes before anticipated sexual activity.
- Maximum Frequency: Once daily.
- Administration: Can be taken with or without food. High-fat meals may delay onset. Swallow whole with water.
Contraindications:
